Presented is an amazing T213 (Type 3) Coupon Cigarette example of Ty Cobb (batting pose), one of the key cards to this elusive and extremely rare tobacco set. T213 Coupon Cigarettes are one of the most uncommon of all tobacco card issues. This is one of only two examples graded at this level, with just one higher. The T213 (Type 3) is believed to have been issued exclusively in the Louisiana area, and are arguably the most undervalued of all tobacco-card issues. The set was issued in 1919. This example has eye-popping colors, sharp corners, and is centered slightly to the left border. The back is clean with very bold print. T213 (Type 3) Coupons are far more rare than their T206 counterparts. This high-grade example of one of Cobb’s most fascinating tobacco cards, which would be a worthy addition to any vintage baseball card-collection. PSA NM-MT 8.
