He grew up in Orange County, California and spent some time living and working in New York City after graduating from Cal State Fullerton in 2009.  Mike has a multifaceted operational background. He likens his skill set to a Swiss army knife, having worked as an Operations Manager for a tourism company in NYC to running a manufacturing and distribution company back home in Orange County.

Mike is a family man at heart and spends most of his free time with his two boys.  He is extremely passionate about Los Angeles Lakers basketball and almost never misses a game. Brendan Wells
VP of Acquisitions & Sales

Brendan brings over a dozen years of hobby experience from three key sectors of the industry: manufacturing, authentication, and the secondary market.

After getting his MBA and transitioning from financial services, Brendan began his hobby career in 2010 with Upper Deck. For the past decade, he has been one of SCP’s primary acquisition and curation specialists, handling many of the prestigious collections and historical artifacts that SCP has brought to the market. A 2020-22 tenure at PSA gave Brendan invaluable insight, but it also made him realize how much he missed the auction side. To him, nothing is more fulfilling than delivering a world record price for a consignor or helping someone find that missing piece to his/her personal collection. His expertise covers just about every era, category, and sport, domestic or international (even Olympics and fútbol).

The son of a pro baseball player, Brendan competed four years in college at Duke University as a middle-distance runner. Having grown up in the Bay Area, he has stayed loyal to his Giants, Niners and Warriors while living in enemy territory in SoCal since 2005. A card collector as a kid, his PC nowadays focuses primarily on vintage original photographs, both sports and Americana. Brendan considers himself a craft beer and salsa snob, and he spends his free time trying to keep up with his two little daughters.
