A rare 1969 Ernie Banks road jersey that had been stashed in a garment bag for more than 30 years was put on auction online Wednesday. Bidding is set to run until Dec. 5 and represents the third jersey since December to be auctioned off by SCP Auctions. Its discovery came as something of a surprise to the collectibles industry, said SCP Auctions president David Kohler.
